The Nike Air Max 270 is a great introduction to these new hybrid midsoles. The shoe begins with a multi-layered upper, constructed from what appears to be a mix of mesh, neoprene, and faux-suede overlays.
The lacing overlays are borrowed from the React Element line, which also shows some inspiration in the React portion of the midsole’s cutouts. Finally, a large 270 Air Bubble takes over the heel of the shoe, starting off in a subtle gold colorway to match the red, blue, and yellow uppers.
