Atlanta’s Grip Amplifies His Sound on New EP, ‘PROBOSCIDEA’

Turning in seamlessly intricate flows and hyper-focused lyrics, Grip’s, ‘PROBOSCIDEA‘ exemplifies what the ideal student of the game sounds like — someone who’s conscious of how to control their delivery, and how to diversify their lyrical bonds.

At 6-tracks in streaming length, ‘PROBOSCIDEA‘ was produced by Tu!, and since the release of, ‘Halo‘, the two are back with more raps. Containing heavy-weight features from J.I.D and Kenny Mason as they go bar-for-bar on, ‘Grip 3:16,’ Grip flexes his lyrical prowess throughout. As if you’ve ever needed a reason; flexible flows, lethal lyrics, and an amazing performance overall from Grip prove that he can really RAP with this EP.

“We had the songs for a few months now. One day just randomly [Sep. 11] we decided to put it out. Grip wrote of the EP in an email to SL. “More skill than thought was definitely put into those ‘Halo and ‘PROBOSCIDEA.’ Just felt like rapping is all.” Stream the new EP down below.
