It’s finally here. After much anticipation, Waukegan, IL artist Ease World delivers his long-awaited project 2006.

Leading up to the project, Ease World releases The Diptape Mixtape, a compilation of bangers that would surly have fans looking forward to the project. At 15-tracks in length, the body of works spans 36-minutes in streaming length. Produced by Don Trevino, there’s only one feature on the project from Hrsh as he link with Ease on Double Scoop.

Much of the project consists of this monotonic sound which in terms creates little room for error on Ease’s part. Tracks like SolidGoldGualaBoy, Futuristic Teenager and Backseat Brain do a nice job of capturing the various soundscapes that are explored throughout the project.

The production on this tape was extremely consistent all the way through, and Ease World took advantage of that as he picked the pockets of each of the provided beats perfectly. At face value, the tape is a collection of bangers that any listener can rock with, but further, it’s a captivating account of the life that the rising star has lived to tell the tale.
