Houston, TX-based artist b delivers his brand new project Take It Or Leave It. At 8-tracks in streaming length, the body of work has a real sense of immediacy and urgency while still managing to weave a compelling larger story. Take It or Leave It represents what you get when your ideas about what you want to do are totally clear but besides that, you are full of passion and talent.
The relentless production and uncompromising vocals and flows make this a really enjoyable listen. The raw emotion on this album is really captivating, but I still have to say the best part of this project for me is easily the production, it’s so heavy and headbanging while not being over-complicated. I don’t want to overlook the lyrics on here though, a lot of great emotionally heavy verses that complement the production well.
At face value, the project is a collection of bangers that any listener can rock with, but further, it’s a captivating account of the life that the rising star has lived to tell the tale. Stream the new project down below.
