Def Jam Recordings signee Goon Des Garcons* may have the biggest release of his young career on his hands. His latest release A24 features Cuco, a Mexican-American singer-songwriter from Hawthorne, California who has managed to build his own buzz over the past couple years.
It’s evident that Goon is headed for stardom and lyrics like “I been scheming for a long time/ Now they know what’s up” better help solidify that statement. Both artists manage to build off each other’s energy in a way that make for a cohesive listen from beginning to end. Cuco’s verse is a high-energetic as Goon’s, making the collab a seamless one.
