Rising Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based rapper Lango continues to elevate with each new release. His latest project, “Speedin’ Through Life” shows Lango in a new light. Taking a more personal approach, the 10-track project allows Lango to open up and touch on relatable subjects. “This project is big on mental. I’m giving a side of myself I don’t show as much,” he’s said about the project via Instagram.
Undeniably all him, “Speedin’ Through Life” is a masterpiece that finally reveals Lango’s artistic talent to the entire world. The opening Xabiel Lucia-assisted track, “Trapped In My Head” throws you straight into a frenzy of crushing synths and stirring electronics. On the other hand, the standout “Always Early” takes more of a somber approach, while Lango’s introspective lyrics pair perfectly with BLÜ’s melodic vocals. Each track showcases his ability to craft gentle melodic rap with undertones of rock and pop with captivating production and arid vocals. A few of the album’s highlights include “Thank God” and “World Is Mine.”
“Speedin’ Through Life” is the project the world was expecting and more, so with this, let the legacy of Lango truly begin.
