Langston Bleu Holds Nothing Back on New Single ‘You’

Langston Bleu carries his influences on his sleeve. Raised in D.C., he attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts for High School. There, Bleu’s aspirations for songwriting were solidified as he became more involved in music composition. His music studies continued at Middle Tennessee State University, where he quickly jumped onto the campus festival stages. During his junior year, Bleu received the Quincy Jones Award from ASCAP for his efforts as a songwriter.

Upon graduation in 2017, Langston Bleu moved to Atlanta to get busy. He was quickly sent to L.A. to join BET’s reality show “Next Big Thing”, performing under the name “Vann”. Under the expertise of Dame Dash, Tina Davis & Zaytoven, Bleu further developed his artistry in front of a TV audience. Upon completion of the show, he flew back to Atlanta and hit the studio with a nuanced vision for his artistry. His first track, “Waiting”, was released in the fall of 2019. With a growing and eager fanbase, Langston Bleu is done waiting in 2020.

Earlier this month, Bleu shares his latest single You. The R&B infused record manages to showcase Bleu’s unique sound in a way that makes for cohesive listen from start to finish. Spanning a little over 3-minutes in streaming length, the record expands on the sound Bleu has already developed and looks to build off that momentum as the new year starts to pick up.
