With his new album Beware of the Monkey slated to drop on December 21, MIKE shared the artwork and tracklist for the album, as well as a new song, “Stop Worry!”, which features guest vocals from Sister Nancy. Over a gloomy soundtrack produced under his DJ Blackpower alias, the New York MC continues to unravel apart his troubled mind with his well-layered pen game that’s just as technically proficient as it is emotionally attuned.
The record is also accompanied by Ryosuke Tanzawa-directed video. The video shows MIKE in a dreamlike studio setting hanging out with an eclectic cast of characters accompanying him before laying down a verse that has the artist as vulnerable as ever.
