In 2012, Nike introduced the Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” during NBA All-Star Weekend, which has since become one of the most highly coveted sneakers of all time and the most popular Foamposite model to date. In Spring 2024, Nike Sportswear plans to create a stir in the sneaker world by re-releasing the “Galaxy” Foams.
Although there have been no leaked images, it is anticipated that the Nike Air Foamposite One will bear a striking resemblance to its 2012 iteration. Any modifications, if made, would likely be minor and centered on the materials.
Expected to be released in 2024, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” will showcase the legendary Galaxy pattern on its Foamposite exterior, with Black accents on the eye stays. Additionally, the shoe will feature a small embroidered Swoosh on the toe and Penny’s 1 Cent emblem on the tongue, heel, and outsole. The design is completed with a carbon fiber midfoot shank plate and the signature glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole, along with the anticipated inclusion of the “Remove Before Flight” tag.
