Pierre Giovanni’s musical journey began in 2018 when he started creating beats in FL Studio. As he honed his production skills, he found himself drawn towards recording his own music. Between 2018 and 2019, he released several projects showcasing his versatility as an artist, but he yearned for a new sound change—a sound that could truly represent him. In 2022, Giovanni dropped Twilight Zone. With standout tracks like “Exotic,” “Lose Yourself,” and “High off Something,” the release cemented his unique musical identity.
Now, his latest project, XSCAPISM, is a 15-song offering that boasts a runtime of 46 minutes, carefully curated to captivate from start to finish. The title track and intro set the foundation for the entire concept as Giovanni shares his personal interpretation of XSCAPISM and what it truly means to him. It’s a deep dive into his thoughts and emotions, expressing his desire to escape the mundane and find solace in a world of his own creation.

Speaking on how the project came together, Giovanni shared: “Watching Interstellar was my biggest influence in making this project. In the movie, Cooper, who was a former NASA pilot, had to go on a mission through a wormhole to find a habitable planet in another galaxy because Earth was losing resources and becoming inhabitable. In relation to that movie and with my project XSCAPISM, it’s a journey of me escaping all the problems and negativity in my life trying to find my own utopia within.”
