Middle of the Night eases us into an exploration of self-reflection, beginning with an almost trance-like intro, Searching for my Soul. Despite the track being just 57 seconds long, it does an impressive job of opening the listener’s mind while setting a powerful tone for the rest of the project.
Ronnie Rage has introduced to the public a refreshing sound that is his own, incorporating ambient synths in his beats while keeping that hip-hop essence, allowing the listener to find themselves lost in the flow of his words and the atmospheric melodies in his beats. In songs such as Limelight and Middle of the Night, Ronnie Rage really showcases his versatility by transitioning between rapping and singing in a seemingly effortless way. Whereas songs such as 3AM and Lust or Love, the last two on the project, seem to have more of an alternative edge that really portrays that vulnerability and raw emotion.
In addition to recording and producing new music for upcoming releases, Ronnie Rage has been putting his creative mind to work writing and filming music videos – which he plans to drop sometime soon.
