Drea Réal — Let Go
You’ll immediately stop in awe when you first hear Miami-based singer Drea Réal’s soft and compelling voice in her new EP ‘Let Go.’ Creating a dreamy style of R&B that is beautifully engrossing to experience, ‘Let Go’ is a collection of songs, each a delightful pocket of feelings and moods, all cast in her sultry R&B sound gently into a delicate rhythm by her salubrious voice. This soft tonality lulls you into a trance-like appreciation that will make you run this one back from top to bottom more than once.
Kwajo x SH1NOB1 — Inside Out
DMV-based artist Kwajo is known for his ability to tap into deeper emotions with both sung and written melodies with elegance and beauty. Once you take his extraordinary voice and pair it with his gift of bars, his music finds him genre-melding into mixed frameworks. Teaming up with SH1NOB1—an equally fire artist in his own right, their latest record ‘Inside Out’ is one of those songs that you cannot help but groove along to. With their seamless blending of genres through image and sound, Kwajo and SH1NOB1 prove their worth as rising artists.
Low.bō — Ricochet
Built around a minimalistic and delicate soundscape accentuated by iridescent production, Baltimore artist Low.bō’s latest single ‘Ricochet,’ is an Alternative R&B record that will have you hooked after one listen. The track soars with radiant, retro synths and bold echoing vocals. Captured by his breathtaking singing, you’re immediately drawn into the tune with no choice but to follow his voice for a way out. Give ‘Ricochet’ a stream if you’re looking for something new and refreshing.
Memoir. — Poised II. / Hold Grudges.
Canarsie, NY’s Memoir. is an artist I’m not too familiar with, but his latest 2-track offering ‘Poised II. / Hold Grudges.’ has definitely put him on my radar. Both tracks display everything that makes Memoir. so captivating and is a must-listen for fans of the drill genre. The execution of both songs is mischievous and aggressive, illustrating Memoir.’s ability to walk the line between two worlds. ‘Poised II. / Hold Grudges.’ feels like just the beginning, and if these tracks indicate what’s to come, then his next release will likely be just as attention-grabbing.
