Hue – gifted hip-hop artist from Portsmouth, Virginia – is slated to drop his newest single “Passenger.” This is the first we’ve heard from him since his impressive EP Bonica 82, which was released earlier this year. Along with the smooth production by fellow Virginia native Andre Palace, “Passenger” is highlighted by a very personable message expressed in an impressionable melodramatic tone. In the midst of a calm delivery, Hue still finds a way to blend in an array of flows and drop some gems.
When asked about the track, Hue had this to say: “It’s pretty simple. Everybody can’t come on this journey, nor do they deserve to. And that’s okay.” Ultimately, Passenger is a lighthearted, yet high-spirited track that will inevitably be stuck in the head of anyone who listens, with its contagious melody.
